Pancakes, they’re flipping good!

Pancakes aren’t just for Shrove Tuesday, they’re so versatile and are ideal for a quick and tasty treat, a light lunch or main meal. They are a great way to use up sweet and savoury  leftovers, if you make a batch and store them in the freezer they’re ready when you need them!

For a savoury dish serve your pancakes with scrambled egg & bacon, ham & cheese sauce or sautéed mushrooms, spinach and a fried egg.

If you fancy a a sweet treat why not try sugar & lemon, banana & chocolate sauce or fresh fruit and cream.

Top Tip

When you freeze your pancakes put a piece of baking parchment between each one to stop them sticking together.
