This recipe is a great way to use up any leftovers after you’ve had a BBQ and it’s another tasty way to enjoy your cheeseburger!

Ingredients

As this recipe uses up items that you have leftover from your BBQ we haven’t added quantities to the ingredients below as these will vary depending on what you have.

  • Lettuce

  • Any other leftover salad, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion work well

  • Gherkins or pickles

  • Cooked bacon

  • Burger patties

  • Cheese

  • Leftover buns 

  • Dash of oil

  • Salt

  • Garlic powder

  • Herbs (optional)

  • Burger sauce

Method

  1. Shred up your lettuce and any other salad ingredients you want to use up

  2. Chop the gherkins or pickles and add to your bowl on top of your lettuce

  3. Add in some cooked bacon

  4. Chop a handful of cheese and add on top

  5. Break apart any leftover burger patties and add in to your salad

  6. Break apart leftover burger or hot dog buns, toss in oil, salt, garlic powder and herbs and air fry for 7 minutes at 190 celsius to make homemade croutons

  7. Combine all the ingredients together and add as much burger sauce as you like
